Peace begets peace

Editor,

How can Chishimba Kambwili wonder why he is always before Police stations? Being a Bemba he should know that Mwikala patala mwine apatalalika. Meaning that those who choose to live in peace will do so and those who aspire for a quarrelsome life will reap the same. He is reaping fights and can expect many more.

Violent words

Editor,

The Bible says that from the mouth of a just man pours wisdom but from the fool pours violence. Let every Zambian use this measure to judge our politicians and determine their suitability to lead the nation. Listen to the language that pours out of the opposition politicians and determine if they will listen to the people.

Kambwili has stopped thinking

Editor,

Chishimba Kambwili is indeed a fat jester. So how does he expect to organise his party if he is going to spend most of his time attending to police warn and caution statements? By the way what a turn after he boastfully refused to honour that call out. Does this huge man think before he opens his mouth?

UPND cadre

ConCourt failing in its duties

Editor,

It seems the ConCourt is failing to execute the role we perceived it would at its inception. Better it just merges with the Supreme Court.

Ignorant UPND cadres

Editor,

If you want to hide anything from UPND cadres put it in writing…they fail to comprehend simple facts. “Zambia remains one of the most favourable investment destination in Southern Africa-Yaluma” simple English in that newspaper headline which they failed to comprehend. The table they published is for all Sub-Saharan African countries. You can do better by giving us the data for all South African countries.

Know Your Neighbour project right on

Editor,

“Know Your Neighbour” campaign is about one of the best local community initiatives I have heard! Nabakuma yard. We need it. Thumbs up. I am interested to know more. Can the councillor contact me through this paper?

Which is which ZNBC?

Editor,

It is mind boggling and amazing to hear ZNBC director general Mr. Richard Mwanza, saying the corporation has a bloated workforce and yet, at the same time he is running an advert calling for people to be employed on part-time basis. S.K. Chishimba, Mufulira

Leave Jehovah’s Witnesses alone

Editor,

I am not a Jehovah Witness but belong to UCZ. But one of your text messages of February 2 which called for the banning of this church was in bad faith because they also use the same Bible that other Christian churches use. They have not been accepted in Russia because of the communist doctrine there which does not believed in God.  Chris Mtonga

Shut fake universities

Editor,

Prof Nkandu Luo should be talking of closing fake universities and colleges which are mushrooming at an alarming rate much to the detriment of education standards instead of keeping the two public universities closed for this long. F.CM

That was off the mark

Editor,

A true government should give development to all not as said by ministers in Luapula that since Harry Kalaba has resigned as minister the people are orphans and they would make sure that Bahati develops more to punish Kalaba.  Maurice Jason
