FORMER President Edgar Lungu yesterday attended the church service and burial program of Local Government Service Commission member Constance Hambwalula.
The former head of state attended the funeral alongside Local Government Service Commission Deputy Chairperson Brian Ndumba who officiated and represented President Hichilema. Ms Hambwalula was also the former Executive Director of the Zambia National Association of Persons with Disability, died this week after a short illness.
She was the mother-in-law to Patriotic Front vice president, Given Lubinda.
The service was held at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and she was interred at Leopards Memorial Park.\ Others in attendance included Chairpersons of the Police and Public Complaints Commission, Dr. Peter Machungwa and LGSC Secretary Moses Mbumba.
