MOZEGATOR, SHIMASTER REACH OUT TO CHARITY

By TERENCE MISELO

Justine Mulenga popularly known as Mozegator yesterday led a team of fellow artistes to reach out to the vulnerable in the community with donations.

The King of Chiunda music as he is fondly referred to was with his long-term friend Shimaster Mwelaonse and One Jay Umumbulu vuvuzela.

Mozegator and crew were in Chawama Constituency donating duvets to the elderly and disabled persons. The crew made a similar donation last week in Kampasa, Meanwood area in Lusaka.

“This donation for us comes in the spirit of helping the vulnerable and elderly people in society. This is something that we need to do to help the vulnerable especially the elderly during this Covid-19 period,” he said.

“People always think it is the government that needs to help the vulnerable but I and my colleagues are doing this to show that we are the government. Government is you and me.”

He says as a musician, he supports and works with the government of the day and therefore any government in power can work with him.

He said he is thankful to the well wishers who helps him to raise funds and resources for the vulnerable.

“This is not my first time or indeed my last time to work with the community. I also help people in hospitals,” he said.

And Mozegator has urged Zambians to exercise their right to vote this Thursday. He said Zambians must vote for the person they like.

“I thank you for all the well-wishers and all the people that helped us. May God bless them and may they continue to support the government of the day,” Mozegator said.
