‘Have some respect’

CHIPOLOPOLO striker Fashion Sakala has urged his critics who have continued to criticise his poor performance at the 2024 AFCON in Ivory Coast to “have some respect.”

Sakala, who has been left out of the 27-member provisional Chipolopolo squad for next month’s back to back World Cup qualifiers said it is unfortunate that people expected him to score goals at the AFCON where he was used as a left back.

He said no player performed well at the AFCON where Zambia failed to go past the Group Stage.

“At the same AFCON, I was playing as a left back and you expected me to score while I was in our box defending the whole 90 minutes.
