I’m ready when you need me, ECL tells police

FORMER President Edgar Lungu has said he is ready to report himself to police for any form of investigations should the State require his availability after the 25 UPND cadres opened 25 dockets against him at Lusaka’s Kabwata Police Station on Monday.

And former President Lungu has questioned why President Hakainde Hichilema and the Inspector General Graphael Musamba are planning and mobilising to ambush him at night with the intention to abduct, embarrass, and forcefully arrest him as if he is a hardcore criminal.

The former head of State in a letter to Mr Musamba dated May 22, 2024 said it has come to his attention a docket had been opened against him at Kabwata Police Station and that should the police require his presence, he would not hesitate to make himself available CLICK TO READ MORE
