USAID commits $67m towards Zambia’s drought response

THE United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has committed US$67 million to Zambia to address the current drought, strengthen long term food security, and build resilience across a variety of sectors. 

USAID Deputy Administrator, Isobel Coleman, said of this assistance, US$20m has been committed towards immediate drought response.
