OUT going senior magistrate Sandford Ngobola has ordered that former Defence Minister, Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba must appear before court on May 15, 2024 without fail.
Mr Ngobola said Mwamba must appear before him to explain why he missed a court session.
He also said the court will decide on whether to revoke the bench warrant issued against him or not after his explanation. On May 7, the court issued a warrant of arrest against Mwamba for missing a court session.
In this matter, Mwamba pleaded not guilty to 24 counts of failure to declare interest and being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
