FOUNDING members of the UPND like Patrick Chisanga, Sakwiba Sikota and others should put aside their individual political interests and channel their energy towards supporting the ideologies that brought them together to form the now ruling party, says former Siavonga district commissioner Lovemore Kanyama.
He said as founding members of the ruling party, Mr Chisanga, Mr Sikota, Mr Bob Sichinga and others should immediately go back to UPND and start contributing to the developmental agenda of the party.
Mr Kanyama has also advised members of the UPND to remain loyal to the party and support President Hakainde Hachilema as he champions service delivery to all Zambians.
He also said all members who left the party for whatever reasons to consider rejoining so that it can grow.
Mr Kanyama appealed to the leadership to start the New Year on a fresh footing by forgiving those that offended during its time in opposition.
He said this is the time for all that left the party to support President Hichilema in running the affairs of the country with one heart.
Meanwhile, Mr Kanyama has challenged anyone with information on those who plundered government resources in the previous regimeto provide such information to the investigative wings.
