THE UPND is currently pushing for constitutional amendments that would see the presidential term elongated to seven years from five, the of the presidential running mate clause and revert to the appointed Vice-President, and the removal of the 50%+1 majority vote and revert to the first-past-the-post system, the Patriotic Front (PF) has revealed.
