MAMELODI Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane confirmed that his side will finally get a chance to practice ahead of their second-leg CAF Champions League clash.
The Brazilians take a 3-0 lead into second-leg of the final at El Borg Arab Stadium in Alexandria on Sunday evening.
However, Mosimane’s charges progress has been halted by their opponents’ failure to provide a training ground for them and decided to rest players after their arrival in Cairo.
“Since arriving, we haven’t done anything,” Mosimane said as quoted by KickOff.
“We’ve come off a 14-15 hour trip, so we have to respect the body and understand what these 15 hours have done to our bodies and minds.”
The PSL coach says that it will be like a Monday for him as he attempts to get his side ready for the crucial clash.
“That’s where we are – we haven’t trained, or spoken about football, or done any video analysis – we’ll be starting the engine in the evening after training, where we’ll also look back on the past game against Zamalek, looking at what went wrong and what went right.” Sports24
