STOP INFIGHTING, MUFULIRA PF TOLD

By SANFROSSA MANYINDA

PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Mufulira Central Member of Parliament, Evans Chibanda, has advised the party leadership and members in the district to work together and avoid infighting.

Dr Chibanda said it was not time to fight but support each other for a common goal which he said was to win the August general elections.

He said time to fight one another was long gone further urging the leadership to treat it as a thing of the past.

Dr Chibanda in an interview in Mufulira at the weekend.

“Said it is normal to support different kinds of people but let us not forget to work together as a people that come from the same party.

Time to fight is gone. Let us avoid sowing seeds of hate and division amongst ourselves,” he said.

Dr Chibanda said the leadership in the district needed to work hard together so as to ensure that the party bounced back to power in the August 12 general elections.

He  said sowing seeds of division should not be tolerated by any well-meaning member because it did nothing but destroyed the party.

He said working together was the only way the President and the party at large could emerge victorious come August.

Dr Chibanda said that the PF being the party in power needed to remain intact and strong for other political parties to emulate.
