UPND WON ELECTION OUT OF LIES, SAYS 3RD LIBERATION MOVEMENT

By JOHN KOMBE

THE United Party for National Development (UPND) won the 2021 elections through lies, they were not ready to fulfill their many promises, The 3rd Liberation Movement has charged that 3rd Liberation Movement president, Enock Tonga said UPND made many promises to which it was not showing signs of fulfilling.

He said the people of Zambia would not allow the UPND government to take them for granted. Mr Tonga said promises such as free education had brought a lot of hope in the lives of Zambians and that now they were filled with disappointment. He urged citizens to demand that the promises be fulfilled because this was what they voted for.

“The UPND promised that its ministers will not be driving expensive vehicles but we are seeing them in big and fancy cars,” said Mr Tonga. Mr Tonga wondered why the vehicles were not being sold and replaced with smaller vehicles as promised.

Mr. Tonga charged that the many U-turns by the UPND was testimony that their campaign promises were all lies. He said that this was the worst form of criminality and as such must be condemned.

He threatened to organise country-wide protests to demand that all promises be upheld as promised. He further accused the UPND of being against the declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation owing to the scrapping of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
