Chipolopolo Boys should prepare adequately for CHAN Tournament

Zambia is one of the teams that will be participating in Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) football tournament to be hosted by Morocco next year.

The tournament will run from January 12 to February 4, 2018.

CHAN football tournament comprises players who ply their trade in the domestic league.

This means that foreign-based players or professionals are not legible to feature in the tournament. It is another form of Africa Cup strictly for local players.

The Wedson Nyirenda tutored side is in Group B alongside with Ivory Coast, Namibia and Swaziland.

 The Chipolopolo Boys are currently camping in Mongu of Western Province.

The CHAN tournament will showcase crème de la crème of African football tournament.

The tournament will not be easy as teams will be at their best striving to win the coveted trophy.

In modern football, there is nothing like underdogs. Hence, the need for Chipoloplo Boys to prepare adequately by working hard, being disciplined and above all, be resilient,

In view of the above, there is need for the Chipolopolo Boys technical bench to select players on merit and also to play quality friendly matches with high Coca Cola FIFA ranked nations.

Go Zambia go and conquer in your quest to win the CHAN tournament. Through team work and focus, victory is certain.
