…….applauds the President for his inclusiveness

Chief Pembamoyo of the Chewa speaking people in Vubwi District, Eastern Province says he is optimistic that His Excellence, President Edgar Chagwa Lungu is retaining the Presidency on Thursday next week.

The traditional leader said the President has worked very hard to ensure that he delivers development in all the corners of the country.

The chief applauded the Head of State for being inclusive and not tribal in the way he governs the country.

He said this when he met with Patriotic Front (PF) Member Dr Canisius Banda in Chipata today.

“I wish the President another term. The President has changed this nation….where and when have we ever experienced the distribution of inputs this early?

“Vubwi has been favored by the PF government. We are just extraordinary. There are a number of things happening in Vubwi of which some districts have never experienced,” he said.

Meanwhile, Chief Pembamoyo was saddened that despite the efforts by the Head of State to deliver development, some people have chosen to give a blind eye to various projects.

And the traditional leader appealed to President Lungu to find a day before the polls to visit the people in Vubwi.

Chief Pembamoyo disclosed that there is confusion in Vubwi following falsehoods being sponsored by the opposition meant to dent the image of the President.

He however mentioned that the Head of State’s presence in the area would send a positive message to the electorates and District as a whole.
