Contempt proceedings against Muhanga to commence

The Lusaka High Court has granted two Safari operators leave to commence contempt of court proceedings against Ministry of Tourism and Arts Permanent Secretary, Evans Muhanga.

Mr Muhanga is alleged to have accused Community Resource Boards (CRBs) and the Judiciary of being corrupt following the High Court judgement that annulled the cancellation of the 19 Hunting Concession Agreements (HCAs) against the advice of the Attorney General.
