POLICE in Chilanga have apprehended suspected cadres, who were found illegally allocating land to unsuspecting members of the public.
This follows a patrol conducted by police officers and UPND party officials in Chilanga Constituency.
Chilanga Member of Parliament, Sipho Hlazo has warned party officials in the constituency against involvement in illegal land allocation, saying they will not be spared by the law.
Mr. Hlazo said the new dawn government is trying to operate in a transparent manner and will not allow such conduct which he claimed was condoned by the previous Government.
Speaking when he checked Namalundwe and Kalundu wards among others, and accompanied by police officers, Mr. Hlazo was disappointed that some party officials are being pinpointed by the victims.
He has since appealed to residents of Chilanga to quickly report any person who will be found selling land without documentation from relevant authorities. – ZNBC.
