FORMER President Edgar Lungu has called on the Church never to be cowed into fear or submission by political leaders for it is their calling to be the voice of the voiceless and conscience and never be turned into praise singers even when things are bad in the country.
Former President Lungu has advised the country’s political leadership to stop intimidating the Church for preaching messages that are making politicians uncomfortable.
He has urged the Church to continue speaking for Zambians because that is what is required of them as they go about God’s Ministry.
