LUCKY Mulusa must shut up and learn to be mature by keeping quiet instead of throwing mud at the people who looked after him, Zambia Republican party leader Wright Musoma has charged.

He said Mr Mulusa should not appear as if he was smart, when he was not and was incompetent and working in the circles of double standards.

Mr Musoma was reacting to sentiments Mr Mulusa made, alleging that he was fired because he refused to be part of the corrupt government.

Mr Musoma, he said, “If Mr Mulusa was sincere enough, he would have resigned on moral grounds as he was asked to, but now that he has been fired he wants to appear as if he is smart when he’s not. I think it is not out of loyalty for Mr Mulusa to talk carelessly in the public.”

Mr Musoma charged that if he (Mr Mulusa) was smart why he didn’t he approach President Lungu who fired him as opposed to throwing mud at people he worked with, adding that it was no secret that Mr Mulusa was one of the ministers with double standards.

“Someone who is hard working cannot be fired and if at all Mr Mulusa feels that he is smart, why was he fired and there are two things here, perharps he  was not competent and at the same time he was working with the opposition, there is no secret about it,” he said.

Mr Musoma said it was wrong for anyone who was working in public office to fail to talk when they were in that office, saying only cowards and greedy people can do so when things were not in their favour.

“If they think they are disgracing President Lungu and his government, infact they are only stripping themselves and showing their immaturity.

Look at the people like Miles Sampa, they had been working and supporting the opposition parties, but at no time did we hear him insulting the President in much as he did not support him during the elections,” he said.

He said wise people do not talk careless and ill about others, but instead they forge ahead as opposed to Mr Mulusa and Mr Chishimba Kambwili.

“Those are greedy people who had failed to resign on their own and because they were no longer relevant hence their firing and therefore must shut up and stop making noise to gain sympathy,” Mr Musoma said.
