SUPER DIVISION side Monze Swallows is set to conduct trials from December 22 to 23 in Monze as the club aims to beef up the squad ahead of the 2018 season.

Swallows communications manager Tim Zulu in a statement issued yesterday said the club’s target was to cement their footprints in the top tier of the Zambian football league.

Zulu said the newly promoted side are aware that their stay in the league will be dependent on the quality of the team.

“Swallows will hit the ground running with the two-trials next weekend in Monze. This is in our bid to strengthen the team ahead of the 2018 season. We have set a target of not only making a mark but   cement our footprints in the top tier of the Zambian Football League,” Zulu said.

Zulu has since appealed for sponsorship from the corporate world to assist the club financially so it can meet its objective.

“We realise this will not be an easy undertaking, hence as an executive we wish to take this opportunity to appeal to the Corporate world as well as individuals with a stable financial muscle to come on board and help the team meet its set out objective,” he said.

He clearly stated that the club management will maintain the Eric Ndlovu led technical bench, but that there was still room to romp in another coach with super league experience.

Zulu also dismissed rumours that the club was under sale.

“The club will be honouring the boys on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 for their selfless performance and resilient manner amid difficult conditions in winning the town’ first ever achievement in history,” he said.
