ALL opponents of the Junior Chipolopolo have arrived in Zambia ahead of the under-20 Africa Cup of Nations which starts this Sunday.

Mali arrived at 10.40 hours while the Young Pharaohs of Egypt landed around midday at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (KKIA) in Lusaka.

The arrival of the two teams completes Group A which has hosts Zambia and Guniea who arrived on Wednesday. And Mali head coach Ba Baye said he respects Zambia and will not be quick to make predications. Baye said the primary aim of the team was to qualify for the World Cup and later fight for the title.

“I cannot comment much over the tie with the Junior Chipolopolo, but I respect have so much respect for Zambia. We are here to put in the best and hopefully reach the semi-finals,” he said.

He said his players were in top gear and ready for the task ahead. “I am happy with the morale of the players and determination to achieve the target.

We have no injuries and looking forward to the game on Sunday,” he said. Mali faces Egypt in their opening match at National Heroes Stadium on Sunday before taking on Zambia on Wednesday
