EXTREME anxiety has gripped pensioners, some of them are senior retired Army Generals who invested in Madison Asset Management Company Limited (MAMCo) who have started losing millions of Kwacha.
They have now accused the Securities and Exchange Commission of abandoning them in structuring a scheme from which they would rescue some of their losses.
In the centre of this anxiety, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which temporarily took possession of MAMCo on March 2, 2020 for illegally offering a product and to safeguard the interest of the people involved, has assured creditors of a fair conclusion of the matter as it is being tackled.
