ZANACO Bank has launched its first digital branch at the Waterfalls Mall in Lusaka to empower customers to conduct routine functions on their own, says managing director Henk Mulder.

Mr Mulder explained that the branch was designed to empower customers to conduct routine functions themselves and increase availability of such services beyond normal banking hours.

Speaking during the launch, Mr Mulder said there were several exciting elements of the new branch design and that the introduction of their first-deposit taking ATMs would improve the bank’s convenience since customers would effectively make deposits anytime.

“We have also introduced other features such as an internet banking bay as well as a digital desk to help onboard our customers to our digital electronic platforms.

“These initiatives and changes have been driven by the needs of customers and our strong desire to meet and exceed them,” he said.

“I am therefore proud to announce that we are in the process to complete refurbishment of a further six branches in different parts of Zambia,” he said

Mr. Mulder further said the new branches would follow the Waterfalls design and will include Cairo Road business centre, Manda Hill and the Kabwe business center.

Others are the Ndola business centre, Kitwe and Choma branches.

And the board chairperson, Charity Lumpa said the bank will continue to support local businesses as can be seen by the work done on the structure which have been done locally.
