THE Zambia national futsal team has moved one step up on the futsal rankings after competing at the Futsal AFCON which was won by the hosts Morocco.
According to the latest rankings, Zambia, who were ranked seventh in Africa before the AFCON dislodged South Africa on sixth position and moved to 85th position on the global rankings after picking one win and two losses at the Futsal AFCON.
Despite having beaten Mozambique to qualify for the AFCON, Zambia remains one step behind their regional rivals who occupy fifth position in Africa.
