…as Nkwazi and Forest Rangers win away from home

FORMER Napsa Stars head coach Hector Chilombo’s search for a win as City of Lusaka coach continued after Real Nakondo came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with the Chilenje based Super division side.

City dominated play in the first half and could have scored in the third minute of the game but was unfortunate as Clement Mundia’s header went over the bar.

After several chances on goal, City finally brock the deadlock in the 30 th minute through striker Morgan Kaoma.

Real Nakonde tried to find the equalizer but City Goal keeper Joe Phiri was well alert to deny the Real from finding the back of the net.

Three minutes before half time Clement Mundia added a second for Yamoyo with his sublime shot on target from outside the eighteen yard area to make it 2-0 before halftime.

Hector Chilombo’s boy could have score their third after being rewarded a penalty a few minutes into the second.

Sadam Yousuf steped up but failed to convert the spot kick which could have seen City going 3-nil up.

With Ten minutes into the second half Bismark Kwateni Pulled one back for Real Nakonde.

Nakonde continued could have equalized but Phiri Produced two fine saves within a minute to deny the visiting team from scoring the equalizer.

Real Nakondes Persistance continued and were rewarded in the 85th minute when Hendrix Mumpa leveld the scores for the two teams to share the points.

Meanwhile Kabwe Warriors held Green Buffaloes to a 2-2 draw in a week 12 league fixture played at Edwin Emboela Stadium.

And In an early kick off fixture played in Chililabombwe, Nkwazi beat  Nchanga Rangers 2-0 at Nchanga Stadium.

Justin Shonga scored a brace for the police sponsored outfit to walk away with maximum three points while the second fixture played at the same venue between Konkola Blades and Forest Rangers saw Rangers walking away with maximum points after beating Blades 2-0.
