Dear editor,
My motion in Parliament urging government to cancel water bills in areas across Zambia that have been experiencing ERRATIC water supply was not supported by the ruling party and the Minister in Charge of Water and Sanitation.
I wish to advise affected residents in respective districts such as Mufulira, Lusnshya and Kitwe just name a few to formally write their water utility companies before escalating matter to NWASCO ( The water and Sanitation regulator in Zambia).
For the residents of Kamfinsa Constituency, I will be at the National Assembly office in Ndeke Near Arthur Davies Stadium on Saturday 11.12.2021 from 09:00hrs to 13:00hrs to help you expedite the process of lodging your complaints.
Let me put it on record that residents should not be made to pay for water they don’t receive , either on fixed charge or when erroneously billed .
