GOVERNMENT is not being honest to assume that the four provinces that are experiencing favourable rainfall will produce enough to feed the nation overlooking other factors that affect production, Green Party president Peter Sinkamba has said.
Reacting to a statement by the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Mtolo Phiri, Mr Sinkamba said the provinces that were having good rainfall like Muchinga, Northern and Luapula provinces did not even receive the farming inputs on time and the inputs that were distributed were not sufficient which had potential to affect production.
