CHISHIMBA Kambwili needs to tame his tongue before it lands him in serious trouble, Intercity City PF chairman, Eddy Gowa also known as “Commando,” has warned.

And Mr Gowa has revealed that Mr Kambwili is bitter against him because he has refused to work with his party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mr Gowa, whom Mr Kambwili had described as a criminal during a press briefing at his Lusaka home on Tuesday, said the Roan MP was just angry that his attempts to lure him from the PF failed.

In an interview with the Daily Nation yesterday, Mr Gowa, said the insults which Mr Kambwili was directing at President Edgar Lungu and the Patriotic Front were unbearable.

“Being sarcastic does not make one a good leader. He has gone loose, picking up fights that he cannot even fight.

“Mr Kambwili should be reminded that the innocent people he is offending today in the name of politics have feelings, they are human beings, they will rise and defend themselves one day,” he warned.

Mr Gowa said Mr Kambwili was using outdated approach to gain political mileage.

“He has been spreading falsehoods against PF  leaders, including myself and President Lungu but we don’t respond thinking he will stop and repent but it’s like it has become his nature, politics of insults.”

For how long does he think we will remain quiet?’ he asked.

And Mr Gowa said the embattled Roan MP was bitter against him because he turned down his request to work with him.

“I understand why he is angry with me. I refused to work with him. I have stated it both privately and publicly that my loyalty is to President Lungu and PF,” said Mr Gowa.

Meanwhile, Intercity Bus Terminus manager, Penjani Chirambo, dismissed Mr Kambwili’s claims that the Lusaka City Council had lost control of the bus station.

“Contrary to Mr Kambwili’s claims, Intercity Bus Terminus is still run by the Lusaka City Council and not the PF. Surely, how can we surrender a public property to a political party? Mr Kambwili is not just being sincere,” said Mr Chirambo.
