Pastor Mumba has truly fallen from grace

Dear Editor,

Allow me some space in your truly national paper to say something about our Dr Nevers Mumba who appears not be living a like a man of God.

I will specifically refer to his letter dated March 28, 2017 which he has posted in one of our on-line publications which is nothing but a rendition of hatred for the current leadership of President Lungu.

I wanted to find out why he has done so now. Or is it intended for the attention of the visiting South African President Jacob Zuma.

Whichever the case, I think the decision to publish that letter this time round is despicable to say the least.

I am beginning to doubt if Pastor Mumba truly worships the living God of Jacob, David and Abraham because of the hatred that he harbours for those in authority including President Edgar Lungu.

Let me make it clear to him that the moment he decided to join UPND and started to drink from the same vessel with that party’s leader Hakainde Hichilema, he is not going anywhere politically. He should mark my words.

By now Zambians have already known UPND by its works. That it is regional and tribal and whose leadership is not inspiring at all.

The Bible is clear about those who claim to love God whom they have not seen but choose to hate someone they are able to see. That is called hypocrisy.

Do I have to remind Dr Mumba that leadership comes from God? I don’t think so because I know that he is an intelligent man who has just gone astray.

But one thing for sure is that President Lungu is currently the head of state and no matter the volumes of ranting may come you and other disgruntled elements, nothing will change that status.

President Lungu was put in State House by Zambians who voted for him last year.

You can choose to live in self-denial and sulk all your life together with all those in your camp, it will not take you anywhere because God has said yes to Lungu.

Tell me what do you imagine God sees when he looks down upon you in your daily doings? An inspirational leader or a rebel?

We hear that you were promised premiership in the unlikely event UPND formed government, but should this make you turn against God you claim to worship?

Remember when we do not do the will of God, we sin and the wages of sin is death. It is as simple as that and you know it even better.

You should also remember that God has warned He will put an end to both the food and stomach to those who are not righteous.

The way you have been conducting yourself in the political arena does not reflect you as a man of God and why should it be so?

By the way UPND has this year again decided to shun national prayers for very good reason-it is a cursed organisation which will forever be groping in darkness.

It is just a matter of time. Those who despise God have a price to pay.
