PATRICK Muntanga, the leader of a UPND-aligned civil society organisation has branded Emeritus Archbishop Telesphore Mpundu a danger to the ruling party’s stay in power and has demanded that he should be silenced and contained from speaking about how the country is being governed.

Mr Muntanga has also called for the immediate permanent gaging of the Conversation Podcast which is being run by Patriotic Front (PF) information and publicity chairperson Emmanuel Mwamba, which has been featuring prominent citizens and opinion leaders discussing the state of the nation and the failures of the UPND government.

Mr Muntanga, the leaders of an NGO called Centre for Governance has called on the UPND and the law enforcement agencies to ensure that Archbishop Mpundu was stopped from criticising President Hakainde Hichilema, whom he has described as the best that had ever happened to the country.

In a voice note that has gone viral, Mr Muntanga has accused Archbishop Mpundu and Mr Mwamba of promoting and propagating tribalism against the people of Southern region where President Hichilema hails from.

In his voice note, Mr Muntanga has also attacked with vile Zambia’s former President Edgar Lungu, claiming that he was sponsoring the retired prelate to speak against the dictatorial governance by the UPND.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
