UPND PRODS COUNCILLORS, MPS

THE UPND in Southern Province has cautioned all elected Members of Parliament (MPs), mayors, council chairpersons and councillors in the province to prioritize the interest of the people who elected during the August 12 general elections.

According to the provincial leadership, the performance of the UPND government entirely lies in all those who have been elected into office regardless of positions.

Southern province Chairman, Billiard Makwembo, said leadership expected nothing less than performance and delivery of quality services to the people.

“As UPND in the Southern Province, we wish to congratulate all our Councillors, Council Chairpersons, Mayors and Members of Parliament who are sworn in for a noble duty to foster change and development in the country,” he said

Mr Makwembo said that Zambians were desperately waiting for quality service delivery from the UPND government through the elected leaders.

“Our people’s expectation is high and don’t detach yourselves from them. We are in a hurry to deliver sustainable development as a party in government and don’t abandon the entire agenda.
