Selected reactions on Zambia loss to Sudan

Ble Munsanje: If Ronald Kampamba, Cletus Chama and Fwayo Tembo had played alongside Augustine and Mbewe, we would have gone far. I will never be convinced that Samu, Kambole, Martin and Mushili are better than Sate Sate and Cletus, let alone Fwayo Tembo. Similarly, I will never be convinced that there is a better defender at Nkana than umwaiche Kapota. Mwegani? Katwishi mu continental. I look forward to a day when Coaches will put the interest of the nation at heart. In a Christian Nation, I never see why Cletus will never be forgiven by Wedson Nyirenda. Likewise, FAZ or the coach needs to forgive Rainford and allow the nation to move on. Yes, strip him of the captaincy but let him play for the country in the AfCON qualifiers coming soon.

Awomojure Oluwaseun Adeola : As a Nigerian, I kept routing for the Chipolopolo only to be let down. In fact, I felt disappointed just for the mere fact we have just been denied a final before the final that would have showcased the developing rivalry between Nigeria and Zambia. Anyway, you guys should put sentiments aside and support the pride of Africa….Up Super Eagles!!!

Solomon Sakala:  This is high time we need to separate ways with the coach; there is nothing he is doing, he can’t read the game. Last time we drew with Namibia he should have taken note the shortcomings but he did not do that and instead he introduces more prank players honestly. ….. Wada must go

Traffic Police: Thanks Hon Kampyongo

Editor,

Extortionist and corrupt traffic police officers are no longer roaming the streets of Lusaka, thanks to the Government Hon Kampyongo who read out the riot act. Time is now to  determine if Lusaka needs so many traffic officers who are never there when traffic is heavy at peak times in the morning and afternoon, especially when traffic lights are not working. This is where the officers should be and not extorting money.

Let us all make a difference

Editor,

We can all make a difference to this nation but please don’t tell me that only when one person becomes president will all people have three meals a day. I can’t buy into that and will never do because developing a country is a collective effort and no single individual can claim the prowess to sort out a country’s problems not even President Lungu alone can do that ,thus people shouldn’t be gullible to think that only when we have this rich guy can bail us out not true

Expedite development projects

Editor,

The call by President Edgar Lungu to expedite works on development projects is a welcome move. The only hindrance here could be lack of funds from the treasury. Let the government complete the current projects before embarking on new ones. Kitwe – Chingola dual carriage way is another project that had taken far too long to be done
