“Customers can also make payments to Patent and Company Registration Agency, ZESCO Immigration, Zambia Police and many more,” he said in a statement.

Mr Shashidar also said IZB had upgraded its digital platforms aimed at encouraging self-service in accessing the products and services, especially with the advent of Covid-19.

IZB has upgraded its mobile banking app and Indo Net Banking which will give customers ability to order a cheque book, create standing order instruction, view and print monthly statements, among others.

Mr Shashidhar, expressed confidence about the latest innovation.

He explained that a complete upgrade of the Indo Mobile Banking and Indo Net Banking had a new and more user-friendly layout with new features tailored to meet the needs of the customers.

“The upgrade will also give the customer the ability to access banking services without physically visiting their respective branches thereby avoiding the long queues.

“At the convenience of the enrolled customer, the Indo Mobile Banking App and Indo net platforms will enable customers to make transfers which include local, international and interbank transfers as well as transfer money to their mobile money accounts anytime and anywhere,” he said in a statement.

Mr Shashdar indicated that the upgrade also enabled parents, guardians and students to make school payments within a click of a second.

The upgrade will give the customers the ability to open new accounts, fixed deposit accounts and also monitor their loans.

“Having this Indo mobile App empowers the customer to have the bank in the palms of their hands, with just a click your requests become a reality. It simply gives the customer 24/7 secured access to their Indo bank accounts and funds,” Mr Shashidhar said.
