WYNTER Kabimba should be the last person to talk about the Patriotic Front (PF) because he knows very little about the party’s internal processes, PF media director Sunday Chanda has charged.

Mr Chanda said the Rainbow Party secretary-general was not a PF member hence understood very little about its internal policies and decisions.

Yesterday, Mr Kabimba claimed the PF was mobilising against Finance Minister Felix Mutati because the MMD leader had refused to channel public funds to the ruling party.

He also challenged President Lungu to face Mr Mutati and tell him to resign than using cheap routes to oust him out of government.

Reacting to Mr Kabimba’s statement, Mr Chanda questioned whether he (Kabimba) had become a spokesperson for anyone including Mr Mutati.

“The question is, when did Mr Kabimba became a spokesperson for anyone including Mr Mutati? Mr Kabimba is not in the Patriotic Front. Mr Kabimba does not understand and knows very little about PF internal process whether they be policies or decision that are being taken.

“We think that he can spend his energy raising matters where he has

got information and knowledge about. He has no knowledge about decisions in the Patriotic Front and must be the last person to talk about.”

Mr Chanda said both President Edgar Lungu and secretary-general Davis Mwila were very clear on the matter that there was only one appointing authority in Zambia and one ruling party which was PF.

“The secretary-general has spoken and President Lungu has spoken and we do not know why Mr Kabimba wants to be relevant on this issue because it does not concern him in anyway.

“So he can continue imagining but everything that he imagines is fiction,” Mr Chanda said.

He said Mr Kabimba was fishing for relevance.
