ZAMBIAN socialite and media personality Mutale Mwanza says she is motivated to work harder following her nomination for the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards(AMVCA) for the year 2024.
This development comes from her artistic work on the DStv Show, ‘Mutale Mwanza Unscripted Season 1’.
Mutale is nominated in a category which is revealing unscripted story telling at its finest.
The socialite also business lady and renowned ambassador for several brands, is pitted against the popular ‘The Real Housewives of Lagos’ as well as GH Queens Season 2 and LOL Naija Season 1. This category is not open to voting but rests entirely on judges decision.
Despite this stiff competition, Mutale Mwanza is optimistic about getting the very best out of this development. She urges Zambians to support her and says she cherishes this big recognition.
Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards is an award show presented by MultiChoice recognising outstanding performances in television, film, entertainment, and digital content creation throughout Nollywood and the entire African content. The annual AMVCA ceremony for 2024 will be held in Lagos and broadcast live on all Africa Magic channels on May 11.
” I still can’t believe Mutale Mwanza Unscripted Season 1 has been nominated at this year’s AMVCA’s in the category “ Best Series “ ( unscripted). I want to say Thankyou for all the posters asking people to vote for me, it’s truly humbling HOWEVER The Category I have been nominated in will be adjudicated by a panel of judges so no voting here. Remember I mentioned that the category is for “ OVERALL BEST “ meaning posters like the one attached below can’t be posted because there’s no campaign for votes.
For now, Let’s just pray hard that the trophy comes home. Everyone really worked hard on Season 1 and I will be happy to win the award.
This will be one for Mother Zambia so fingers crossed ,” said Mutale.
