A GOVERNMENT department responsible for climate financing has been paralysed as nearly all officers including drivers and messengers have had their services terminated, in a massive purge.
The National Designated Authority (NDA), a project office under the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment has ceased operations after its Permanent Secretary Dr. Douty Chibamba resolved not to renew the contracts of all staff members, with the exception of only three at a time of the country’s drought emergency situation.
