GOVERNMENT should expel foreigners interfering in internal affairs of Zambia such as elections before they set the country on fire, the Evangelical Youth Alliance (EYA) has demanded.
EYA president Rev. Moses Lungu has charged that President Lungu should not tolerate individuals with ill intentions against the country.
He said such people should be declared personas non grata and expel them immediately from Zambia for their acts of interference in internal affairs.
Rev Lungu said there is need for government to take decisive action against such foreigners regardless of their status.
“Those who are known to be engaging in clandestine activities should be expelled before they put Zambia on fire.
“In fact, we as EYA have already collected 1000 signatures to have someone sent back to his country of origin before he puts our country on fire,” Rev. Lungu said.
Rev Lungu observed that no Zambian can be allowed to interfere in election processes of another country.
On Friday, President warned foreigners to desist from interfering in internal affairs of the country.
The President expressed shock that some foreigners were interfering in Zambia’s internal affairs.
