SHUT UP, KAWANA TOLD

SHUT UP, KAWANA TOLD

By NATION REPORTER

IT is irritating and not in order for Thabo Kawana to comment on every matter concerning Government, he should pipe down, says New Heritage Party vice president Samuel Kasankha.

And Lumezi Independent Member of Parliament Munir Zulu said that MrKawana should stop being excited to comment on Government matters which he did not understand, just to get recognition.

In an interview, Mr Kasankha said the UPND Alliance media director should maintain his lane by sticking to party matters and not Government related issues.

He advised Mr Kawana to desist from commenting on Government matters irresponsibly as it was above political lines.

“As for Mr Kawana, he is actually irritating a lot of people. I, personally don’t appreciate his style of commenting virtually on everything to do with Government. He must shut up and stick to his lane. He is masquerading or trying to appear as an official spokesperson of Government,” he said.

Mr Kasankha also urged the ruling party to tame Mr Kawana to avoid issuing conflicting statements and embarrassments.

“I think it is important that the Government who may stand to lose out to clarify on who is supposed to be commenting, and possibly stop,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr Zulu said Mr Kawana was seeking for recognition in a wrong way.

“He is doing all that to attract appointment in Government,” he said.
