The 2018 Zanaco Master Golf championship Organising committee chairman, Roy Penny, has reaffirmed his commitment to organising a successful tournament which is expected to feature foreign golfers from 21 countries.

Speaking after receiving $10 000 from KPMG, Penny said that the Zanaco Masters golf tournament was crucial as it contributed to the development of golf in Zambia.

Penny commended KPMG for supporting the tournament adding that the support would help the tournament’s organising committee to host a prosperous competition.

He called on other corporate entities to help the organising committee raise the required resources for this year’s tournament.

“We are happy to have KPMG on board. We know that a tournament such as the Zanaco Masters requires resources for it to be a success. The total budget is about $500,000. We are committed to hosting a successful tournament and that is why we are calling on the corporate world to come and partner with us to deliver a successful tournament which is expected to feature foreign golfers from 21 countries,” Penney said.

Meanwhile KPMG senior partner, Jason Kazilimani who is also Zambia Golf Union President said KPMG was committed to help in hosting a successful championship.  “Every tournament needs financial support for it to be held in a successful manner and for us as KPMG, we are glad to be partnering with Zanaco who are the main sponsors to ensure that the tournament is a success,” Kazilimani said.

Zanaco are the main sponsors of the 2018 Zanaco Masters Golf Tournament which will run from April 9th to April 15th 2018.
