RENOWNED entertainment entrepreneur, Social media influencer and MC, Robinson Kasao aka Jerahyo’s ‘Quarrantine Diaries’ have made a huge impression on social media recording over 500 views in every new post.
The ‘ Quarrantine Diaries’ are a collection of short entertaining yet educating stories on Covid-19.
Dubbed the maddest and doppest master of ceremonies and event host, Jerahyo’s sessions usually posted on Facebook are a way of entertaining people during the partial lockdown and need to stay home to avoid the spread of Coronavirus.
“After the announcement by government to shut down bars, clubs and other entertainment hubs in order to contain the spread of Covid-19, I saw how much panic that came about due to lack of entertainment,” he says.
“I therefore, came up with stories that I could tell online through social media. The first time I thought of telling the funny story, I had doubts if it would get attention at all, but the feedback was astonishing I ended upto with over 500k views in less than 48hrs.”
The Quarantine Diaries is a series of stories about a fictitious character called “Bashi Junior” who ends up in trouble everytime he goes against the Covid19 preventive measures.
“This creative idea is both entertaining, informing and educating people about surviving Covid- 19.I am hereby appealing to all entertainers to join the fight by providing creative edutainment to people via social networking,” Jerahyo said.
His other trending-setting works include heading the production of Zambia’s first ever 3D vernacular Cartoon “Ama Jazzi” which as had over two million views on a single episode as well as two presidential recognitions.
