MSISKA TIPS YOUNG MEN ON MARRIAGE

MEN are never ready for marriage, hence young males who are waiting until they feel they are equipped are misled, says Secretary to the Cabinet Rowland Msiska.

Dr Msiska said young men should not wait to marry until they felt were ready as there was nothing like being ready for marriage.

He explained that each day came with its own challenges and experiences, hence the need to marry when one found a right partner.

Dr Msiska, who said had been married to one wife for over 30 years, reiterated that he would still have been single had he decided to wait until he was ready.

The secretary to the cabinet said this when he officiated at a wedding ceremony for Mumbi Mutale and Charity Chanda at Garden Events View in Lusaka’s Makeni Township last Sunday.

Dr Msiska pointed out that men were never ready for marriage and that they should not wait to tie the knot until they felt equipped once a right partner was found.

“You see there is nothing like being ready for a man to get himself a wife. If I had to wait until I feel ready, I would still have been single up to now,” he said.

Dr Msiska said that women were always on hand to ensure that their partners were well nurtured.

Meanwhile, Dr Msiska advised the newly weds to put God at the centre of their marriage if they were to have a long and happy life together.

He assured the couple that they would persevere through whatever challenges that come their way if they put the creator ahead of any problem.

Dr Msiska further advised the couple to always endeavor to cultivate their marriage so that it was captivated every morning.

And speaking separately, parents from both families, advised the couple to always run to God first whenever they were faced with a challenge before presenting it to them.

The wedding ceremony was also graced by deputy secretary to cabinet, Christopher Mvunga, former Drug enforcement Commission (DEC) chief, Ryan Chitoba and Ministry of Tourism permanent secretary Liya Mutale who is groom’s mother.
