NKANA are on track to win the 2017 Super League title but have to work harder to achieve that objective, says coach Beston Chambeshi.

Chambeshi was excited to have Nkana back in the top four after beating Nkwazi 2-0 at Nkana Stadium last Wednesday.

He was happy with the players’ performance in the last three games.

“It is good we are picking points as we approach the end of the league season and I am happy with the kind of play from the boys, it is good to win,” he said.

He said Nkana was still in the race and needed to fight harder to win the league.

“We still have a distance to cover and I want us to be making strides and to be on the right path. This win has motivated the team,” he said.

Chambeshi praised Ronald “Sate Sate” Kampamba for his consistency this season.

“That is how complete players perform and I am happy with the way Kampamba is playing. I hope he finishes the season on a high note,” he said.

Kampamba contributed a goal to Nkana’s victory over Nkwazi.

Nkana are fourth on the log with 55 points, five behind leaders Zanaco.
