GOVERNMENT has released K250, 000 towards the repairing of the burnt Mukobeko clinic in Kabwe’s Ben Kapufi ward.

Mr Mushanga, who is Central Province Minister, said the government had made available funds to commerce the repair works so that people in the area can have access to quality health services.

He explained that the clinic was burnt down by what he termed enemies of development shortly before the 2016 general election.

Mr Mushanga said the government has not been idle and has through the Ministry of Local Government released funds to start the process of repairing the gutted clinic.

“Mukobeko clinic was burnt by evil people when we were almost getting closer to the 2016 general elections. Government has been working on the process of repairing the health facility and has to this effect released funds through the Ministry of Local Government,” Mr Mushanga said.

Speaking through their councilor, Mr Joseph Kalungu Bwalya, the residents commended the government for the gesture.
