The Patriotic Front has continued on its unapologetic adoption system of going for popular candidates and has consequently dropped seven incumbent members of Parliament in Luapula including General Education minister Dr Dennis Wanjinga.
PF Secretary General Davies Mwila announced yesterday and named the other prominent members of Parliament dropped as Dr Sebastian Kopulande in Chember and former Community and Social Welfare minister, Emerine Kabanshi.
The list of those who made it through the adoption field includes former Health Minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya for Mansa Central, newcomer Leavan Chibombwa (Bahati Constituency), Anthony Kasandwe (Bamgweulu) Mambwe Cliff Mpundu (Chembe), Chipota Prudence Christine( Chiengi), Ms. Nyemba Jullen Fwanki( Chifunabuli).
The rest of the field includes Chaka Paul Kanshanda (Chipili), Nickson Chilangwa (Kawambwa),
Chanda Katotobwe (Luapula), Ngandwe Jean Ngandwe (Mambilima), Masheke Chanda (Milenge), Kampampi Kabaso (Mwansabombwe), former Education minister David Mabumba (Mwense Central), Simon Mwale (Nchelenge) and Ronald Kaoma Chitotela (Pambashe).
Those dropped include Charles Mambwe (Bahati), Mecha Ponde, (Chifunabuli) Anthony Malama (Nchelenge)vand Mr Mwansa Mbulakulima (Milenge).
