PF LAUNCHES VIRTUAL RALLIES

… as party Secretary General Hon Davies Mwila asks Zambians to give President Lungu and the PF a resounding victory come August 12

Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General Hon Davies Mwila has asked Zambians to give President Edgar Chagwa Lungu and the PF a resounding victory come 12 August, 2021.

Speaking when he officiated at the inaugural launch of the PF virtual rallies at Mulungushi International Conference Centre, Hon. Mwila said President Lungu and the PF deserve to continue beyond 2021 because the Patriotic Front has delivered on its campaign promise of making every Zambian count by leaving no one behind in the development process.

He explained that the PF has brought back the dignity and morale in the civil service.

“Today, our civil servants are able to buy land, build houses and buy cars. Today our civil servants are able to get loans and run proper businesses because we have improved their salaries and conditions of service,” Hon. Mwila said.

The PF Chief Executive Officer has further commended President Lungu for the DEBT SWAP that his government has implemented for civil servants.

Hon. Mwila has noted that this will take civil servants out of the debt trap and improve their disposable incomes.

And Hon. Mwila stated that the Patriotic Front has made education ACCESSIBLE and AFFORDABLE to all.

He explained that the PF government has cut school fees and build more primary and secondary schools to make education ACCESSIBLE and AFFORDABLE to all.

“We have upgraded and built 7 (seven) public universities including Kapasa Makasa, Chalimbana, Levy Mwanawasa, Nkurumah University among others,” he added.

Hon. Mwila further explained that the PF government has given scholarships, loans and bursaries to over 40, 000 students countrywide.

The PF Secretary General further explained that the PF government has continued to recruit more teachers and other support staff to improve and maintain the quality of education.

And Hon. Mwila stressed that the Patriotic Front believes that WOMEN and YOUTHS are key drivers of economic development.

He stated that to achieve this, the PF Government has created an enabling environment for our women and youths to meaningfully participate in the economic activities of the country.

“We have created thousands of jobs through the massive infrastructure developments. We have created an enabling environment for the private sector to grow, thereby creating more jobs and business opportunities for our women and youths,” the PF Secretary General said.

And Hon. Mwila also explained that the PF government has addressed most of the challenges that were being faced in the health sector.

He stated that when the PF formed government in 2011 the healthcare system was in a crisis.

The PF Secretary General explained that the PF has trained and recruited more than 24,000 health personnel and has build 571 health posts across the country.

“We have build 105 mini hospitals, we have built 4 specialised hospitals, we have built 34 District Hospitals, a number of General Hospitals and we have upgraded 3 General Hospitals to University Teaching Hospitals,” he said.
