KAKOMA DITCHES PF – but to continue to providing political, social and economic counsel to stakeholders

PATRIOTIC Front central committee member, Charles Kakoma yesterday resigned from the former ruling party to pursue other endeavours in life.

Mr Kakoma, who was UPND spokesperson, before joining the PF towards the August 2021, general election said his resignation follows consultations with his family and friends. 

“As a consequence of this decision to resign from the party, I have also relinquished my position as a member of the central committee of the Patriotic Front,” said Mr Kakoma.

He thanked the party and its out-going president Edgar Lungu for the trust and confidence he showed him by giving him an opportunity to serve in the central committee.

Mr Kakoma said as a senior citizen, he will continue to provide political, social and economic counsel to fellow citizens and stakeholders.

Mr. Kakoma who is also former UPND Zambezi West Member of Parliament last year dumped the now ruling party citing bad leadership.
