Henry BJ to grace tonight’s Radio Awards

Celebrated comedian Henry BJ is lined up to anchor tonight’s first ever Zambian Radio Awards set to take place at Carousel Shopping Mall in Lusaka. The comedian with unique experience will keep the guests entertained as Zambia witnesses the first biggest radio awards ever. The radio awards meant to celebrate and appreciate Zambian radio will start at 18 hours this evening and have a range of awards to be given out. Expectedly people will be looking forward to know who gets the best radio award and the best presenter award. There are however many other interesting categories and awards. Interesting among these awards is the special award that is listed as Legend award, Recognition Award, Lifetime Achievement, Best CEO and Best Corporate. Zambian Radio Awards C.E.O Emmanuel Nyoni says they have received an overwhelming response from the radio stations across the nation and are looking forward to a big event tonight. The winners will be judged by a selected committee that is independent and well vested in radio business. Competition for the radio stations has been well placed in three main categories which are South, North and central. The Central zone includes the radio stations in Lusaka and Central Provinces while the South region includes Western, Southern,Eastern and Muchinga. Lastly, the Northern region includes radio stations from Copperbelt, Northern, North-western  and Luapula.
