MTN SUPER LEAGUE RESULTS

Ten man Red Arrows have recorded their first win this season after beating Green Eagles one nil in week six of the MTN Super league Fixtures played today.

The Airmen scored the only goal of the game in the 19th minute through Chrispine Sakulanda.

The game was not short of drama as match officials were at the center of the thrilling encounter, disallowing a goal from Eagles and giving matching orders to Allassane Diarra in the 93rd minute.

Arrows are now 15th on the log on four points while Eagles are 11th on six points.

The Nkoloma stadium hosted a double header as Lusaka Dynamos came from a goal down to hold visitors Buildcon to one all draw in the first game.

Dynamos are sixth on eight points while Buildcon are third on 11 points.

And Red Arrows Coach Chisi Mbewe said the win is a relief for the team who have not had an easy run this season.

Mbewe said the main objective to get good results and strike a balance between local and continental football.

Green Eagles Coach Aggrey Chiyangi said despite the loss, his side played well.

Chiyangi said going forward the team will work on scoring more goals.
