POWER Dynamos coach Mwenya Chipepo has predicted a tough much against the MTN Zambia Super League leaders Red Arrows next weekend.

Arrows will host the defending champions who have struggled with two defeats and one draw in the last three games.

Chipepo said he was worried with his team’s performance ahead of the Week-10 fixture slated for Nkoloma Stadium.

The Power gaffer noted the need for his charges to work harder than they worked when they hosted Sensational Zanaco FC who held them to a 1-1 stalemate last weekend in Kitwe.

“We are very worried but we just have to work hard. We are playing Red Arrows next away from home. Another tough game, Red Arrows are on top of their game, they are playing good football, we saw how they played over the weekend with one man down so it is going to be a very difficult game and we just have to make sure that we prepare ourselves well,” Chipepo said.

Asked what the main challenge is for the Kitwe side who are seventh on the Super league table with 13 points from three wins, four draws and two defeats, Chipepo said; “Scoring is our main challenge at the moment but we are not going to sit down. We will work on the mistakes we made which is converting chances into goals. We are creating chances but not scoring.”

Meanwhile, Chipepo is confident that captain Godfrey Ngwenya will help Power to redeem themselves after recovering from an injury.

“I’m happy because Godfrey had two operations on one leg and now the way he is coming up at least he will give us good results in the next game,” Chipepo said.

Ngwenya scored Power’s lone goal in the 1-1 stalemate against Zanaco and was voted as man of the match.

Meanwhile Lusaka’s Woodlands Stadium will host the much-anticipated Kitwe derby involving Nkana FC and Power Dynamos on November 12, 2023, Nkana FC have confirmed.
