KAMBWILI FUMES – DON’T POKE YOUR NOSE IN PF AFFAIRS, HE TELLS KAWANA

BY ADRIAN MWANZA
PATRIOTIC Front (PF) aspiring president Chishimba Kambwili has charged that outsiders should not talk about the presidency of the party as they were fanning confusion.

Mr Kambwili who was reacting to UPND Alliance spokesperson Thabo Kawana’s comments that PF vice president Given Lubinda could not be president because the party viewed him as a traitor.

He said that Mr Kawana needed to concentrate on the affairs of his party and not the presidency of the PF.
He advised t Mr Kawana to stop issuing disparaging remarks against the party’s vice president.
‘’Kawana should desist from poking his nose in other people’s business, let him just concentrate on the Alliance and not who takes over the PF,’’ he said.

Mr Kambwili said that the party had structures and that they would deal with the issue of presidency when the time was right.

And when quizzed about the issue of taking over as PF president, Mr Kambwili said that the party would follow the right procedure which was going to a convention.

A video circulating shows Masaiti MP Michael Katambo introducing Mr Kambwili as party president, but he brushed off the video and said the matter had not yet been resolved and was premature at the moment.

‘’It will be very wrong most especially that we have not yet gone for a convention to choose the next office bearers,’’ he said.
