'KAMBWILI HAS DEMONS'

OPPOSITION political party leaders have charged that Chishimba Kambwili is demon possessed and a shameless liar that no Zambian should trust.

New Congress Party (NCP) president Peter Chanda said Zambians cannot be fooled by Mr. Kambwili whom he described as an “unprincipled man with no ethical conduct” to rise against the President Edgar Lungu-led government.

And Zambia Republican Party (ZRP) leader, Wright Musoma has urged Zambians to ignore the rantings of Mr. Kambwili, saying he was just bitter for being kicked out of Government.

The embattled Roan Member of Parliament, allegedly urged Zambians to rise up and get rid of the government led by President Lungu.

In yesterday’s Mast Newspaper, Mr. Kambwili is quoted as saying, “the Zambian people need to rise up and say enough is enough of the PF-MMD government being led by President Edgar Lungu and Rupiah Banda.”

But Pastor Chanda said Mr Kambwili was not a messiah to be making such statements just because the PF kicked him out of the party.

In an interview with the Daily Nation yesterday, the NCP leader said that Mr. Kambwili should be the last person to incite Zambians to rise against the legitimate government because he is a hypocrite.

“We are extremely disappointed with his utterances that Zambians should rise against the government of President Lungu. This man who confessed that he was possessed with demons is a hypocritical person whom Zambians should not trust.

“We are surprise with what he is saying today when not long time ago when he was in government, he sang praises saying President Lungu was God’s chosen leader. This is how hypocritical this man is,” Pastor. Chanda said.

Pastor Chanda, however, urged Zambians to ignore Mr. Kambwili’s manoeuvres saying his rantings were out of frustrations, vengeance and rebellion, with nothing to offer to Zambians as his main aim was to destabilise the ruling party.

He urged Zambians to reject Mr. Kambwili’s manoeuvres by getting rid of him politically.

The NCP leader also warned that any political party that is going to embrace Mr. Kambwili risked being inflicted with his demonic attitudes.

“Hon. Kambwili is a disgrace to the political dispensation of this country. He is a shameless liar who has no principles and good ethical conduct. Any party that will embrace him risk being inflicted by his attitudes.

“A demon-possessed person can inflict some demons on other people. He confessed that he was demon-possessed and probably because he has not been helped spiritually, he might be still possessed,” Pastor Chanda said.

And the ZRP leader said Mr. Kambwili was frustrated and bitter for being fired by President Lungu adding that he was busy attacking the government to win sympathy.
